I've got a few photos of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva), taken from our air ambulance flights, but the last couple of flights out to Geneva, the weather's been appalling and useless for photography. Glad you managed to get this beautiful shot.
That's where I'm REALLY lucky. If we're in the Seneca or Chieftains we can only fly to 10000 ft if we have a patient on board. The ceiling on the Cheyenne is FL290, but that doesn't matter as we're often in Geneva in the winter to pick up patients anyway. One day I'm hoping to actually have the opportunity to leave the airport, rather than having my patient brought to me every time. I'd love to get a really close look at that lake.
The lake is like... most lakes It's more the scenery around it that's quite nice (though I think the Alps are more impressive when you push "deeper"). You could have a look at Castle Chillon, that's pretty nifty.
Airships, well - not really.. not my thing, not a real airplane, nor a ship either. I perfer - IF I must - flying, I will stick my face into a book and concentrate on the food and try to forget the fact that I am up up in the sky, a place where I shouldn't be Usually works !
