Had to do a little research to figure out what this peak is actually called, but apparently it's called Monviso :) Near the French-Italian border.

I really like the highest peak being in the center of this photo. You captured it in the right moment, even if you were in the cockpit of a fast-moving jet! :thumbsup:

Yes, I do find it quite cool to compare the two photos. What a huge contrast between the two - especially with the change of the season and post-snowstorms! I do remember the 'Shadow of the day' - I did fave it!

Photographing this one during sunset - ahh, what a perfect way to end the day! :)
