Wonder what happened to the poor thing's paw. Despite that little injury though, I'd not get too close - don't trust these animals in the slightest!

I have to laugh because I got two pelican photos when checking my dA messages - this one and another one [link] ! These photos were right next to one another, as if they were awaiting comparison! By the way, the other photo was also taken in Florida - in the Naples area.
