Description
Robert Mueller Municipal Airport was the airport of Austin from 1930 until 1999. The iconic control tower was opened in 1961. Currently, it sits on the edge of a field that was once the airport, new housing being constructed all around it. The faith of this building hasn't been decided yet but I hope it is preserved.

It could possibly be made the centerpiece of a park or playground, but then there are the maintenance and upkeep costs associated with that. Certainly, the public can't be allowed inside.
Your local historic commission will have to decide, but I know some home owners will label it an eyesore and demand it be removed.
