Artist's Comments

Another "Sunset at altitude" shot. Thanks to :iconfahlaemee: for helping me edit out a scratch that was on the window.

Aerial views of the clouds in their various layers and types are definitely quite captivating. The dynamic changes in the clouds never cease to be entrancing, especially when they are seen from the air while the plane maintains its forward motion (as in cruise). This cloud-filled shot is definitely a perfect illustration of what it is like to view the clouds from above (as compared to viewing the clouds from the ground).

There is so much diversity in the clouds as shown in the shot that the word 'Spectrum' could not have been more appropriate as a title! Here, you'd see more cumulus clouds (with streaks of stratus clouds in various places) in the lower layers, whereas more stratus appear in the layers from the middle upward.

The cloud-filled spectrum shows a great deal of balance between the majority of cumulus clouds down below and the thin veiled stratus clouds above with the dark, definite layer of stratus across the middle.

There is even a broad spectrum of colors shown in this cloud shot. And there is definitely a great deal of definition to the various cloud types in the entire spectrum. The reflection of the sun brings out the bright-dark outlines in the cumulus clouds, whereas the stratus clouds in various layers show their subtle silhouettes or white smoothness here and there.

I cannot tell you how mesmerized I am every time I get to enjoy the enchanting views of the clouds from the air! This aerial view is just as fascinating as what I've seen in many of my flights! :)

The more massive an object is, the more gravity it contains, which explains why it is harder to get ketchup out of the bigger glass ketchup bottles. More importantly it is also why a big screen tv collects more dust than a hoover.

IMPRESSIVE shot man! :D

I do, what'd you want it for? And keep in mind, the edit I mention in the title only applies to the low-res one ;) Not that it's a huge thing.

Well, the scrach is noticeable in the big one?.
It is to have it as wallpaper for my desktop, i know i can use this one but i will look bad if i resize it, if you have it available for print i might give it a try (if it is not too expensive :P).

You know how much I love clouds! Those angry, storm-like clouds as seen from the ground (or right by the sea) and layers of various cloud types as seen from the air.

Critiques will be coming to you soon. In the meantime, I've added both of your photos to my :+fav:s.

Regardless of the camera (single-use or digital) you happen to have in your hand, what matters is that you are able to capture the moment! Otherwise, you'd miss out on this very experience that can serve as a great photo 'reinforcement' to your memories!
